Our youngest had this conversation with J a couple of Father's Days ago -he must have been 3? We thought it was delightful how brutally honest he was!

It's quite hard to have conversations between the parents and Cooper because he's so tiny. I always need some way to bring their heads closer together to fit in a panel. Normally I have Cooper in Joel's arms, but I've been doing that a lot lately. If Cooper wasn't going up, Joel would need to come down!

I thought about what they could be sitting on the floor playing. I was about to go with wooden blocks or Duplo, but then it hit me -what about a cat toy?! That was the perfect visual gag to punch up the slighter weaker script.
