Making of "Cleaned Up"

Something like it definitely happened, but it's been in my notes so long now that we can't remember if kiddo said the last line or not. It sounds exactly like something he'd say, but have we just gotten good at writing for him? I can't remember!
While drawing, the big change in this one was Fran's expression in the last panel. She was more disappointed originally, because that's how I felt, but J suggested making her a little more neutral -like she was still clinging to a desire to be impressed. I appreciated the direction as it lifted the comic up from being a bit of a bummer! :)
The piles of stuff took a while as you might expect. Luckily I have a bunch of previously drawn stuff that I could pull in, so all I needed to do was arrange it and add things in the gaps.
