Making of "Inside"
Added 2023-01-31 23:02:34 +0000 UTCI started this one a long time ago, based on some real life comments, but I didn't know how to end it! J suggested Fran going like "Flower Cat Meme", to which I said "What the heck is that?!" It's odd how social media works, a classic meme to one person can completely miss another by! I looked it up and it was funny:
I was going to try to make Fran do the pose, but it wasn't really working so I went with making the cat look like her instead. It got the J seal of approval, but I was worried that not enough people would know the meme, so I put it on the back burner.
Roll on 2023 and I'm having a hard time getting drawing again, so I go digging through my half baked roughs. Looking at it again, I thought maybe if I added Joel as another cat, then it wouldn't rely so heavily on people knowing a particular meme.

I had an ultrasound in mind, but when I went googling I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. Where had I seen it before?! Oh yes! My own child! 🤣
Look at those eyes and -TEETH?! What a helpful boy, giving me comic material from literally before he was born!
Just before posting I realized Joel shouldn't have a dad bod yet, so I put him on a quick diet! Looks funny on the animation above watching it get sucked in! :)
