Making of "Just One Bite BONUS"
Added 2023-10-24 17:44:29 +0000 UTCSo what would Vampire Vince want to eat? Our oldest has recently discovered Hot-Pockets so I couldn't get the idea of him sinking his fangs into one out of my head! I planned on having Fran and Joel in the background reacting to the scene, some ideas were
Fran sad "I'm a failure as a Mompire!"
or
Fran happy "Close enough!"
or
Fran "I bought the ones with hidden blood!" (as opposed to the kids food you can get with hidden vegetables!)
That last one was a bit weird. I considered leaning in by having Joel saying "HOW?!" but that just made it more confusing!
Once I'd drawn Vince with the Hot-Pocket, I realized I didn't need any other speech other than him establishing what it was. That's often the way when scripting, you think you need more words than you do, but then the picture sells itself!
