Making of "2 Wolves"
Added 2023-12-29 22:45:02 +0000 UTCI found this idea in my notes and had no recollection of writing it, but it made me laugh! The ending was originally a bit of a downer with Joel exasperatedly saying "Well yes, but I feel you are missing the point!" I wanted Joel to be a bit more playful, so I had him building on Vince's idea instead of knocking it down. Once I did that I realized the "how many wolves" argument was quite complicated! Are spirit wolves and wolf wolves counted differently? Is it 4 or 6...or 8?! This type of conundrum is like chum in the water for engagement so I left it at 4 so people could battle it out in the comments haha! Yes I am that evil! :)
The video above makes the hardest part of this one look easy! The rack of clothes behind Mamma Wolf! Doing those "effortless" backgrounds with as little detail as possible is always a nightmare and as I'd been picking away at this comic over Thanksgiving Break, by the time I got to the background I was entirely sick of looking at it and doubting the joke was even funny! I pushed through and thank goodness, people got it and as expected, had a good old fight about wolf numbers in the comments! :)
