Positive Projections

It has to be said that a 'birds-eye' view is one of the best ways to appreciate a substantial bust-to-body ratio. It also allows me to highlight something a little more technical this week...

Now before we dive in, I should point out that in regards to breasts in their own right, the term 'projection' and 'east to west' have their own meanings - the former denotes the relationship between the root or the base of the breast and how far it 'projects' from the chest, and the latter denotes breasts that sit further toward the side of the ribcage, often giving a wider cleavage.

However, in terms of bra design, the same terms can be adopted for how the cups and the structure of the bra accomodate the bust. Forward projection, for example, is how much the bra pushes the breasts forwards - often a feature of side support bras. A bra that promotes an 'east-to-west' shape is one that has a tendency for the cups to face out at an angle from the chest, often giving the result of a wider looking bosom.

Now, whilst there are many techniques and designs to minimise and reduce the appearance of a large bust, and even a whole genre of bras that specialise in it, there eventually comes a point where one is simply fighting a losing battle. With so much projection, both in front and east-to-west, there is simply no doubting, or hiding, the bearers incredulous endowments...
