I like the way the surround sound voice keeps both ears engaged In the audio.the ear are switched.i also love how you said you won't use the new one for every recording.a variety is nice plus now that there are 2 mics,it's kinda exciting to not know which experience your gonna get.hope this help

You definitely need to do ear to ear whisper audios with this mic. It was so tingly and lovely. And like everyone else said, the ears were switched. Still great though.

I'm gonna listen again a little later, after I dig out my old headphones I used for editing, but I was curious and decided to just listen with my phone speaker, which is how I usually listen. :P Most of it sounds pretty good, but at the beginning and the end you sound quite far away, and the sound is a bit.... 🤔 hollow? mechanical? airy? ..... 😒 *sigh* I wish I had the vocabulary to talk about this... 😔 My knowledge of sound design is very basic and self taught, and it's so frustrating to hear things but not be able to articulate them. 😔 That's something I reeeeally wanted to learn more about in school, but our small Film program left a lot to be desired. 😔

I agree with the talking over your head comment. I’m short - so it almost felt like when someone talks from behind you with their chin on top of your head. Still very close & cuddly, but different. I like that there’s a clear difference in sound between behind & in front.

I love the clarity with this mic, like it actually feels like you’re circling me. It feels very immersive. The ear to ear is also really satisfying. Sometimes the sound does sound not as close, but I assume this is because you (K) aren’t wearing headphones. The ears are the right way for me. My right was my right, my left was my left.

When you were in front of the mic it kinda felt like you were speaking right over my head almost kinda towards my left side and it felt the same for when you were behind the mic. The only difference was from behind, it sounded much louder and in front was much softer. But you switching between left and right registered nicely I think compared to your other mic, that one sounds more clear kinda like you’re in the same area together, and this new mic sounds a bit further away? Hope that all makes sense but overall I do think the quality is nice

the front facing sounds feel slightly aerated compared to the old mic but the left & right side sounds more crisp and nice overall & they weren’t switched for me. Overall im vibing with this new mic, looking forward to the future audios 🤩
