Sword Side Stories: Primi Sanguinis Occisor: Spear and Sword

Commissioned by Lambo and Citino

Wordcount: 1500 +1000 (Citino wanted “Something with Miyakuro” and this needed more words.)

It was only right that I share my joy with Miyakuro. Being an advisor to myself had been an arduous task, especially before Li had set out to educate me. So, after I’d missed him when he’d come to bask in Li’s newest accomplishment, I set out to meet him and speak with him, as to ensure that I could thank him for his work.

I expected him to be tired, especially since he was righteously fighting a war for humanity’s sake and attending to his own projects, so I was shocked to find him tired from other reasons entirely! I could only gasp in shock at the scene before me. Miyakuro, my friend, was at the mercy of Gungnir after he made the mistake that Li did not and succumbed to the temptation of indulging in the lusts of his loyal servant!

“No, you damn blonde stereotype, that didn’t happen!”

“Yes, it happened. He had his way with me in such a manner that left him incapable of walking.”

Miyakuro’s face was set in anger, but I knelt by his wheelchair and grabbed his hand without hesitation.

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you any way I can.” That was a promise. After all this time, Miyakuro had advised and helped me. His lessons and aid might have been seen by others as terrible, but they were meant to be, so that I could understand. He knew that I was not as intelligent as others, but aided me the most efficient way possible, despite how others would look upon him. “You’ve been a true friend to me all this time, Miyakuro, so rest easy… I shall do everything in my power to convince this girl that you are worthy of her, despite the fact that you’ve already thoroughly taken advantage of her.”

“Yes. He has. It was very demeaning how he used me and my body as nothing more than a tool, despite the fact I was finally alive.” I was aghast at Gungnir’s words. Aghast! She stood as tall as myself, with features that were the ideal for beauty, and was clad in clothes that were garish and gaudy. Halfway down her chest, all the way to her pelvis, everything was in display. Undoubtedly, Miyakuro had torn at her ferociously! “Mhmm, that is correct. Kita is the absolute worst. He intends to use me like a slave, I’m very sure, and will do his utmost to stop you.”

But, as Miyakuro’s friend, I won’t let him stop me! Even though he’s surely the sort of person to enslave living beings for the sake power, I was once an idiot, lacking utterly in social abilities, and incapable of reading the mood. Yes, through time and effort, anyone can change, as long as others are supporting them. I owed Miyakuro a debt for supporting me before, but I shall do it solely as his irreplaceable friend, now!

“If I could throw you both into the sun, I would.” Gungnir could only smile in silence at Miyakuro’s threat. It was worse than I originally believed. She was totally smitten by him, utterly incapable of seeing him do anything wrong, and would do anything for him. She… she might even stop me from changing him, if he chose to order her to! How utterly terrible! It’s so terrible that tears are welling in my gaze. After helping me out of my predicament, my friend has fallen into the same challenge, while I cannot help him the same way as he’d helped me! “Die. Go die. Please, go die, before I lose all the faith I have in myself and humanity forever. Thank you very much.”

Primi Sanguinis Occisor, how can you still remain so useless, especially here and now!?

“Don’t worry, I’ll find another to help you. As you always say, Miyakuro, there’s always someone better to do work than you!” Such wise words and advice might have failed him in his most pressing hour, but who was I to judge Miyakuro? Wisdom can falter and fail. In fact, it would be unwise to think that those who are wise are perfect. Wisdom cannot exist without the courage to make mistakes, the humility to acknowledge them, and the determination to overcome them. I should have been at Miyakuro’s side as a better example of the perils of creating life that is beholden to you. “I’m sure that Li and Hyoudou will be able to provide you with some measure of relief, but you will have to wait for me to get more capable individuals—”

“Hmmm? What’s this? Primi-chan, why do you look so sad?”

Masamune! She stood in the hallway, the light from outside gilding her figure majestically, as she somehow arrived right when I needed her. Truly, I did well to accept her so readily, even back when I was set on giving Li everything. She made up for my deficiencies, even if she kept secrets so that Li would have to learn more and better himself to crack, and in moments such as this she was a blessing! Clad in her kimono, the picture of elegance as she hid her smile behind a fan, she exuded absolute grace and tranquility!

“Oh, fuck.”

“Oh, no.”

“Masamune, you must convince these two that their current debaucherous relations are unacceptable! As worthy of a master Miyakuro is, and despite how willing Gungnir is to present the whole of herself to him, they must know the error of their ways!” Masamune looked upon my friend and his newfound servant with piercing, iridescent eyes. What turned and tumbled through her thoughts was unknown to me, but I took heart in the fact that as she closed her fan with a snap, her smile was present and aglow upon her beautiful visage. “Oh, is that a yes? Please, say that’s the case, as I need your aid!”

“Of course, Primi-chan. I’ll be more than happy to lend you my aid.” Masamune’s voice was sweet and gilded to the point where it brought shivers of delight to both Miyakuro and Gungnir. Yes, her arrival opportune and perfect! My friend and his new companions were going to be perfectly fine in her care. “What sort of proper lady would I be, if I let this situation continue as it is? I would not be able to meet Li-sama’s gaze, if I did not act.”

“You see what happens when you play around in this madhouse, Gungnir? You learn that you’re not the biggest fish in the pond, let alone the fucking ocean.” Miyakuro spoke using metaphors, which I did not understand. I can only assume that he was barely holding himself back from telling Gungnir to attack us in his name, so that he can continue to use her with her dubious consent. “You goddamn idiot, you’ve put us in the hands of the most depraved, queen bitch in this whole group!”

If Miyakuro is insulting someone, that means he respects them and is confident that they won’t get hurt by his words, so I left Masamune to do as she wished.

I had to find Li and Hyoudou, so that they could convince Miyakuro that what he’s doing is wrong!

The land was harsh and barren, as expected of a world where the Chimera made their mark, but it was slowly becoming a testament to Li’s foresight in approving of humanity. This world was once held by Chimera, but with only a little aid from Li and his chosen companions, humanity was cleansing through fire and steel.

But that wasn’t important!

Helping Miyakuro is!

“Occisor-san!? What are you doing out here!?” Traversing to the frontline was easy, given the extensive network maintained by Miyakuro, and so was finding Hyoudou, given the fact he was honored and placed at the front line. He looked at me clad in armor that mimicked the strength of Dragons. “Is something wrong? You look scared!”

“Miyakuro’s laid his hand on a woman who couldn’t give her informed consent!” The words were harsh, but they were the truth. My friend had done wrong and I needed to give him aid. Hyoudou was shocked by my words, obviously attempting to discern a lie from me, but I grabbed him by the hand. “Masamune is holding the line for now, but you and Li need to talk sense into him, despite the beauty of the woman he’s created! He must think with the head between his shoulders and not his legs, as the humans like to say!”

“That… that bastard! He’s already got the perfect domestic life, but he’s made his own anthro, moe waifu just to lay his hands on her!? I’ll kill him!” I wasn’t familiar with a few of Hyoudou’s words, but his vehemence was something that I approved of. “Wait, if Miyakuro’s really gone off the deep end, we need to bring out the big guns… we need to get Eli, so we can get Angela-san and Mayu-san!”

Ah, as expected of someone graced with understanding of others, as Li happily praises Hyoudou in confidence after their lessons, he was the correct friend to go to first!

“We can get Li right after getting them, too! Truly, Hyoudou, you deserve all the praise Li bestows upon you!”

“T-thanks, but we should focus on making things right! We have to ki—save Miyakuro!”

With that we raced through the battlefields, in search of Dimension Lost’s user. As we did, I killed some Chimera, so that Hyoudou and Ulrich wouldn’t be missed while they were gone.

It was an easy enough affair, now that Li trusted me completed, but I was not blessed with Clarent’s tactical acumen.

I could only hope I did enough.

A continent’s worth was good, right?

Masamune smiled at me when I returned. Miyakuro looked appropriately chastised in his wheelchair, as did Gungnir while she stood holding herself up on the wheelchair’s handles. Truly, I had left the most capable of individuals to look after these two, while I gathered the rest of the individuals to talk sense into Miyakuro.

“Ah, that won’t be necessary, Primi-chan. It was all a big misunderstanding. Miyakuro-kun didn’t touch Gungnir-chan, nor did she do the same to him.” Masamune’s words were a shock, but that of relief, even though the effort I’d expended was wasted. Mayu, Angela, Hyoudou, and Li were all present to chastise Miyakuro, but I could apologize to them for the mistake, while knowing that my friend didn’t make such a grave error was priceless. “But I suppose that it’s a good time to introduce Gungnir, correct? Gungnir-chan, why don’t you say hello to everyone here, I’m sure that they’ll be quite happy to get to know you.”

“Y-yes, ma’am.” Aww, despite her looks making her the embodiment of lust and depravity, Gungnir was actually kind and considerate, and perhaps a little bit shy. She even had trouble looking up and at all of Miyakuro’s friends. I suppose that I’ve still done something correct! I’ve made a little party for Gungnir’s introduction to the Preservers! Even if everyone wasn’t here, I did something worthwhile! Surely, this deserves praise from Li later! “I am Gungnir. I did not have sexual relations with Miyakuro and it was wrong of me to imply that to Occisor-sama. I-it is nice to meet you all.”

Ah, she’s even apologized for my actions! What a sweet girl she is! Now that I think about it, her appealing nature might just be a cover for a nice, considerate, and adorable person. How silly of me to assume that she felt the same as I did when I awoke and bound herself to her creator as closely as possible! Truly, I need to learn more about understanding people, even though I’ll never be as good at it as Masamune! At least, maybe, I’ll be able to help her in the future!

“Hi, my name is Miyakuro Kita. I’m dead inside, but you all already know that.” Miyakuro was languid in his chair. Well, it was mean of him to go along with Gungnir’s joke, but I suppose friends play tricks on each other all the time. There was nothing to forgive, especially if I did everything correctly on the frontlines! “Maybe, if any of you have a speck of damn mercy in your hearts, you can release my soul from this shitty body of mine, already.”

“Maybe, later.” Mayu seemed pleased, despite being in Li’s presence! She hid a smile behind a sleeve, while she looked upon Miyakuro, and she even laughed. “I’m quite fond of how you look, Kita-kun. I’d be quite sad if you left. Don’t you agree, Angela?”

“I would miss your cake, Miyakuro.” Huh, now that I am aware that Ioseva was different from Michael, how was I to treat her? I treated her with ambivalence, yet now I must both look past her past self, while also acknowledging that without Michael’s actions, I would never be with Li today. Hmmm, thoughts for a later time, I supposed. “Please, don’t die until you make enough cakes for me for the rest of my life.”

“I don’t know what I did to deserve this, Occisor, but know that I’ll one day have my vengeance—wait, where’s Freischutz?”

Huh, why would I bring her to where Miyakuro needed his family and friends?

“You know what, just for that, I’ll allow you to apologize for me. But I want you to apologize to me now.”

“Gasp!” I gasped. How could I not gasp!? Despite everything, I’d still made a mistake that I had to promise never to do again? That meant… that meant! “Miyakuro are you mad at me!?” No, wait, he was the wrong person to ask such a thing. I turned to Li and Hyoudou. They were his very best friends. “Li! Hyoudou! Is Miyakuro mad at me? Did I do something bad to him!?”

“M-maybe?” Hyoudou’s answer was muddled and nigh-incomprehensible. Given his talents as a man who understood others, it was only natural that he would become confused with Miyakuro’s words and actions. My friend was an enigma, wrapped in veil of scathing anger, and hid a kind, gentle heart at his very center. I should have known better than to foist such a question upon him. They were friends, he was already biased, yet I had to force an ordeal upon him too!? Truly, I had much more to learn! “What do you think, Song!?”

Li looked at me with a kind gaze… and I felt my heart sink.

Oh, I did mess up, didn’t I? The first time I tried to help my friend, and all I did was fall for a trick, which has embarrassed him.

“Occisor… sometimes mistakes can be good.”

Eh?

“Hmmm, for the first time, I agree with you, Li Song.” Mayu!?

“Yep. This is good.” Ioseva!

“I don’t want to get hurt, but this is seriously the funniest thing ever, yeah.” Hyoudou!!!

I turned for an explanation and say Masamune smiling warmly at me.

“Fret not, Primi-chan, all is well. Your mistake has enriched the lives of your loved ones.” At those words, my heart swelled with joy. A warmth spread to me that was foreign, but was utterly welcome, and especially so when Li laughed and placed his hand on my head. “You deserve praise for your proactivity and care. You have done well, even if not in the job you’d intended.”

I had much to learn…but with people like this surrounding me, I felt far less concerned that I would do something terrible and wrong in my newfound path.

Surely, without a doubt, I’ll continue to be a better person every passing day, henceforth!

“I hate you all so much.”

The next time I help Miyakuro, he’ll be happy for real!

Comments

Good to see that despite becoming more mature, Primi still a cute.
