Notification of Patreon disabling.

Let me begin with saying that I take full responsibility for this decision and that I won’t short anyone of anything..

No matter what’s ahead, I’ll be making sure to give what I owe.

However, I will outright say that I am incapable of keeping my current pace of writing to an acceptable standard while maintaining my current level of health. Over the last few months, I’ve been getting sicker, I’ve had a cough for five weeks that won’t leave, the quality of my work has deteriorated, and I have to power through looking the screen dizzy and fatigued.

And, were my schedule to have remained the same, I would’ve continued my current path. However, in my current program, an opportunity arose that will allow me to pursue a career which will do more than just allow me to eke out a good living, but potentially thrive.

It’s more strenuous and extensive than anything else I’ve ever done, so I cannot continue any of my writings any longer.

I will be deleting my Patreon account within the next two days, no longer take commissions, and no longer be updating my Quests. I considered trying to keep it up, I truly love writing it and it’s so much work that doing this is making me cry, but I can’t keep doing this. I’m going as far as to stop living independently and accept help from my family, so I can’t spit on that by doing this half-assed.

There’s so much I want to do, but there’s also things that I have to do that I can’t.

I’ll be writing a little, but it’s only to keep the torch lit.

I don’t know what else to say, especially since I’ve done what I hate by promising so much and delivering nearly nothing, especially when so many things are happening right now that’s months and months of work and effort.

I’m so sorry, everyone.

Dude, take what I gave you for all the entertainment

Keep my payment for this month as one final "Thank You" for for the last few years. Been reading ever since I stumbled across Eastern Rhapsody, which was the reason I even started checking SB out in the first place. So- THANKS!

Inglorien

Most of all, be well.

Benjamin Hower

I'm so fucking happy for you. I started supporting you on patreon because your writing was good enough that I was happy to put down $5 a month if it would help. If this is what you want to do go for it, I'll miss your writing but that happens. Good luck.

Steven Compton

Sad about this turn of events, but good luck and get better soon!

Blue Flaming Wings

Unfortunate but that's just the way things go sometimes. Good luck!

NineToOne

Good luck and take care!

Rash

While I did cancel my subscription, feel free to keep the money. Consider it a get well gift, and a thank you for all your hard work thus far.

Weise

Good luck with the job. Hopefully you get to a happy and healthy place and you can come back eventually and continue writing. Best of luck.
