He says it was a mama raccoon fighting like hell to protect her babies from something vicious, maybe a coyote, and he told me he doesn’t think it managed to hurt any of the babies. 🥺 I donno if they were actually all okay, but I hope so… 🥺❤️ I’m really relieved to know what it was, and he said I shouldn’t worry about calling it in. I was just really worried because a lot of people around here have kids and pets, and go for walks at night. 🥺❤️ I’ve heard raccoons lots, fighting over food and stuff, and I’ve heard coyotes here and there, but I’ve never heard anything snarl like *that* in real life…. *shudders* 😣

2022-08-20 22:54:15 +0000 UTCListening to scary movie reassurance because I overheard the live show in my backyard and I’ve been too freaked out to sleep 😣 It sounded like a group of cute little animals were attacked by something genuinely terrifying and possibly rabid, and I’m terrified at the thought of leaving the house… 😣 I never close my window in the summer, but it’s shut and locked, and I haven’t slept at all 😥 I really wish I wasn’t alone tonight…. 🥺😔 It was too dark to see, but I recorded the sounds and imma call… someone?… tomorrow, hopefully they can catch whatever it was before it hurts someone or something else…. 😥😭
