We're back from our haunted bed and breakfast trip with Leslie's parents! It wasn't haunted and didn't have breakfast. There's honestly not even much to talk about, which is the most disappointing thing. It wasn't spooky, it was just some grandma's house she rented out for the night. Wasn't in the middle of the woods or anything, just in some neighborhood relatively close to a town. No strange occurrences, no unexplainable phenomena, nothing. Granted, Leslie and I don't believe in ghosts at all compared to her parents, but I wish there was just anything, you know? 

The people renting the place left us some "ghost-hunting equipment" in the form of a camcorder, a recorder, and a "spirit box" which is just a radio that scrolls through stations really fast. That one especially just seems like cheating because you're supposed to hear words formulate and come the fuck on, of course you'll hear SOMETHING, you're scrolling past a hundred radio stations. They did some tricks before they left us, flickering stationary flashlights ("ghost manipulations") and showing us pictures of mysterious beams of light and videos of toys and baseballs falling over on their own. We ended up figuring out and replicating most of the tricks, though. The flashlight just has a loose battery in it, which causes a flicker effect that's easy enough to replicate, and we dabble enough in photoshop to know when they've clearly added shit to their "photographic evidence". I feel like we're huge bummers to be around, because Leslie's family is super into ghosts but we end up just accidentally debunking shit. Granted, we still had fun talking and making jokes and stuff, but I still feel bad.
