Can't Access Rewards? Please Check Your Payments/Bank!

Apparently, Patreon has moved its headquarters to the UK or something, which has caused a high number of Patrons' payments to be declined, particularly if you're paying with a credit card. Not only that, but some of these declines have even triggered credit card fraud marks from their banks. Our Patreon has had over 100 declines this month, so if you still aren't able to see your rewards this month, PLEASE check your payment options. If you're paying with credit and declined, DEFINITELY check with your bank to see if you've been gotten a fraud mark and dispute that shit ASAP.
I'm sorry about this. This is 100% a fuck-up on Patreon's part. They never told anyone this would happen and they've been radio silent throughout the night as it happened. Expect to get an apology from them soon, I guess. Please make sure you're okay with your bank. It should be easily fixable, I hope. Either way, this shit is fucking ridiculous.

Fortunately, I use PayPal for my Patreon rewards so everything went through without any problems.

In the short time I've been a member, there's been a snarky attempt to increase Patreon gross revenue, the threat of a boobie ban, and now an inability to properly process credit card transactions. Patreon management should be embarrassed, assuming they have enough self awareness to BE embarrassed. So if you would like to switch to another service you'll hear no objections from me. I'm even willing to mail you a check for two years of fees in advance if I can get the same rewards as I do now.

2018-08-02 19:00:50 +0000 UTCI switched over to using Paypal with the same card and it worked out, though it's a bit clunky on Patreon, as you have to create the payment method, and then transfer your memberships to the new method.
