Man, I've spent the last two days grocery shopping. Don't worry, I was decked out in a facemask and gloves. Even stripped down and jumped into the shower the very moment I got back. The first trip was to Wal-Mart, which took FIVE hours. One entrance was blocked and the other was fenced off with social distancing lines to make sure people waiting weren't too close to each other. Once I got in, half the store was empty. Toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, frozen meals, iced coffee, orange juice, boxed dinners...basically, all the essentials were gone. I managed to scrounge up enough stuff, but god damn, it was scary. The next trip was to a local grocery store in our super small town, which I had much better luck at. We have enough food now to last us a month. Really wishing we had got a bidet, though.
