Our stay-cation in Arkansas ends tomorrow! We'll be making our way back home mid-day tomorrow. Turns out it was for nothing. The first hurricane fizzled out and the second one completely missed our house...and ended up chasing us 450 miles inland to exactly our evacuation hotel in Arkansas. We...don't know what weather god we pissed off, but boy we fucking did it, all right. Luckily by the time it hit our hotel it was much, much weaker. Everything seems to be all cleared up, so the drive home tomorrow should be nice and uneventful.
That said, this trip was not a waste. Far from it. I managed to finish writing the rest of this chapter here, plus an entire chapter of another comic. Not only that, but we went hiking in some beautiful remote spots in the mountains and even found the PERFECT visual reference for the next chapter. Ohoho, you're going to LOVE this next chapter.
