【まだアカウント凍結中】異議申し立て文を書いてみた【英語】

2023/2/7 14:38時点で、私のTwitterアカウントはいまだ凍結のまま帰ってきません。

私が最初に出した異議申し立ては少なくともCase化はされているようで、これ以降はEメールに返信するようTwitterからの返信（おそらく自動）がありました。

凍結から5日ほど経ちますが、未だ凍結解除への道のりが遠そうです。

ちゃんとした異議申し立て文を書いてみたい！

何回か申し立て文を英語で送ってみたのですが、よくよく考えたら結構失礼な文章になっているな～と思い、きちんとした「Appeal」の書き方ってあるのかな、と調べてみました。

するとこんなサイトが出てきました。

Appeal Letterの書き方が例文付きで載っています。

このサイトでは、社内の上司の決定に対して不服を申し立てる部下、という設定で文章が書かれています。

サイトの例文では、上司が部下の昇給を承認しなかった件に対し、部下が欠席日数の認識の違いなどを根拠に反論するという「Appeal」になります。

色々条件は違うものの、これをパクればそこそこいい文章が書けるのではないかと判断しました。

記事かくの飽きたわ

本当は今回の件に照らし合わせて解説入れたいなと思っていたんですが、案外長くなりそうなのでやっぱりやめました。

代わりに今回送った文章を貼り付けておきます。自分では丁寧に書いたつもりだけど口語っぽい英語しかわからないので実際かなり雑だと思います。

凍結の理由とされている"Platform manipulation and spam policy"の条文を出して、自分の行動が該当していないという旨を書きました。

最後にマシュマロというサービスが今回の凍結に関連していること、アカウントを一方的に5日間も凍結されたことで精神的苦痛を受けているとも一応書いておきました。

これで凍結解除されるといいけど。

もし本当に解除されたら、その時はこれが良い例文になるのではと思います。

I hope this e-mail find you well.

I'm writing you to appeal your decision to my account suspension.

I read all of the text of "Platform manipulation and spam policy".

I cannot write all of them, so I will select some of the article to write below.

In Overview,

- I didn't do "commercially-motivated spam". Further, I never spam.

- I can't do "inauthentic engagements". I don't know how to do.

- I have multiple accounts. But I didn't make any conversations between my accounts.

- I don't have fake accounts.

- I didn't do any automations after this policy exists.

- I'm not promoting any violation of Twitter Rules or harmful activity.

In "What happens if you violate this policy?",

Permanent suspension

- operating accounts where the majority of behavior is in violation of the policies described above

> I believe there are no behaviors in violation on my account.

- using any of the tactics described on this page to undermine the integrity of elections

> I'm not using my account for elections.

- buying/selling accounts

> I'm not buying or selling my accounts.

- creating accounts to replace or mimic a suspended account

> I don't have any fake accounts.

- operating accounts that Twitter is able to reliably attribute to entities known to violate the Twitter Rules.

> I don't have accounts about any entities.

Given the above, I believe very hard my account was suspended for error.

I request that you consider your decision about my permanent suspension.

For information, I used the service named "マシュマロ(Marshmallow)" and this service includes making auto-tweet of the information like "We're waiting for your ideas".

This is kind of automation, but I think it still doesn't violate the "Permanent suspension" articles, and I saw many people same as my situation is already unsuspended.

I feel extremely mental distress because I'm still suspended for 5 days.
