Holy shit we are fucking BEAT. This weekend, Leslie and I dug an 800 ft. trench, laid 840 ft. of pipe, and did so much digging, burying and rock-breaking that our hands are FUCKED UP. I'm serious, I lost some skin and my hands have been shaking all day. It was too much work. TOO MUCH, I TELL YOU. But...it was a success. We have successfully connected our house to the city waterline. Even better, we actually have water pressure despite the almost 1,000 ft. different. No more orange dirt water for us! We're drinking that beautiful, clean city water from now on, baby!
Also, another category 2 hurricane is barreling towards us this week. Lovely.
We won't be evacuating this one. We basically blew our shot last time. But it should only affect us for one day, so we'll ride it out. We've got plenty of food and water this time, so we should be all right. I'll let you know if anything changes!

Trenching and laying pipe is hard work! I worked for a sewer contractor one summer during college and I have nothing but respect for the job you got done..

Not to impress Seth, but to reclaim her own identity and self esteem apart from hers. That's what nudism is about, presenting yourself, unashamed, because you're nobody's object. You exist for yourself, and that autonomy should be respected, no matter what one's state of dress.
