HUGS. Well, the third hurricane came and went with minimal damage. We’ve been pretty lucky with these hurricanes as far as damages go, but there’s still so much prep and anxiety around them. You’re basically on edge checking weather trackers constantly, wondering when’s the latest you can get the hell out. Used to be you only ever had to worry about 1 big hurricane every other year but 3 hurricanes in a row? Fuuuuck that. God, we almost had a 4th, too. This shit sucks.
Also, I replaced my computer! Our stimulus finally came in, so I figured it was time to upgrade. Was hoping to get an RTX 3080, but like everyone else in the world, couldn’t get one. I settled for a modest 2060, which was still a significant upgrade from what I’ve been working with. SSDs are amazing, though, I can’t believe how fast this thing is.
