SUPER EARLY page today! As you may have saw over the weekend, Leslie and I took our second covid vaccine shots on Friday. We were pretty fine for the rest of that day, just a bit of soreness in the arm. But on Saturday, good lord in hell, we were DESTROYED. We were running a fever, we were freezing cold, everything just hurt, walking was miserable, it was awful. We just laid in bed the entire day and suffered, our eyes glazing over youtube video essays with absolutely no brain power to comprehend them. I swear that at one point, time froze just to trap us in that hell for a little longer.
Now, though? Now we're perfectly fine. All the symptoms have passed and all that's left is some arm soreness, but not even that much of it. The difference is seriously crazy. The experience sucked, but holy shit, it's just over now, and in two weeks we'll have 95% protection against covid. We're already making plans for what restaurant we want to eat at first when these two weeks of build-up are over. Please, please get your vaccines, it's seriously worth the one day of misery.
