Been playing some Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake this weekend and god, what a charming game. I've basically played every Paper Mario game EXCEPT this one, and I've only ever been lukewarm on the series. This, though? Absolutely charming. I love the world, I love the writing, the new music is fantastic, and god, the designs are so fucking cute. I'm only on chapter 2 right now and I can't wait to play more. They got Boos in bunnygirl outfits, I should have known this game was special. No spoilers, please!
Gonna get crankin' on rewards this week! Leslie and I have been trying to cut down on the air condition usage and use regular floor fans, so I'm kinda tempted to do a "beat the heat" theme for these pin ups and comic. If you got any suggestions of your own, feel free to let me know and I'll give 'em some thought!

While I saw this a few days ago, looking at it now I noticed a small detail in Johnson's eye in the third panel. When I saw it, I immediately thought of a snake's eye. Not sure why...but there does seem to be more that what we see with Johnson.

Jack White would often use a pitch shifter to get more bassy sounds out of his guitar when needed (like on Seven Nation Army). I always imagine Suria as kind of a mix between Jack White and Lzzy Hale. If we're talking about taking the band to the next level, though, I think they could probably use a backup guitar. Maybe a keyboard. A keyboard on roller skates.
