Drawing the Kickstarter Battle!

Hey all, today's post is a WIP video about drawing the comic for the Grinvolt-Dradkin battle in the underground fortress.

As you surely know by now, as part of the compendium kickstarter campaign I'm running an illustrated play-by-post in the comments of the campaign itself. Every time we hit a stretch goal milestone, I take all the input from backers to that point and use it to adjudicate the next step of the battle.

The backers are trying to seize control of a Dradkin fortress, by playing the part of the axewives of Grinvolt. I'm playing the Dradkin forces - their soldiers, acolytes, sorcerers, and their monsters.

Meanwhile, I'm drawing each step of the battle as a comic, set in a new map of the fortress complex.

When the Kickstarter campaign is done, I'm going to write up the aftermath of this fortress battle as a final, epic adventure for the book. If the battle goes poorly, it will be a dungeon controlled by the Dradkin once more. If it goes well, maybe it will be staging area for adventures even deeper into the underworld!
