Doesnt the Guy with the Fire Powers and the Lead Character more or less seem allot like Ash Kutchem and Gary Oaks rivalry dynamic where Gary is better in every way a duelest but Ash you can sense has something more special deep down when it comes to heart and an overall decent person and its why in the end Ash succeeds its his heart.

Honestly, I really like Midoriya's bunny-esque costume. It really suits his personality and even goes surprisingly well with his abilities once he starts getting a handle on them. I just wish it wasn't so heavily ingrained in his obsession with All Might.

He actually still has it (or a version of it at least), he just never wears it for some reason, so technically, you do see it, just not him wearing it. Same goes with the bunny hood, but he has worn that at least once after this in the manga.
