Jessica Jones 2x11 Reaction Early Access!

hi guys

Just wait next week will hit the nail on if you love Trish or hate her I personally love her at the end she might be selfish but let’s be real if you lived in a world where people have powers and you can do a surgery to gain a power id do it

At 7:38 I was wanting Eric to say "Do it" so bad as he does when hes doing his palpatine thing but he obviously didnt want jessica to kill the dude so I didnt think he would. But then he whispered it and all was well.

As pissed off as Trish made me I take relief that this was the intended response, which means they were success rather than making the character unlikable with the intentions of them being likable like we got with Danny Rand. Jessica and Trish’s relationship deteriorating is tragic to watch considering how strong it was back in season 1 and how it helped Jessica get out of a dark place with Kilgrave.

Cool Reaction. Me I felt her getting her powers this way was more realistic.

All I can think about is Laurel on drugs during Arrow. That was a terrible subplot too. Comic book shows should have a rule: No giving Second Lady drug addictions. It’s not good tv, it just makes them suck.

I could not wait until Blind Wave got to see all those needles going in. :-D

I immediately thought of Aaron when I first watched this episode. Also, I think you're not supposed to like Trish, but I also don't think you're supposed to hate her. She's like Jessica's mom; they're all addicts and broken and much like in real life, there are no easy options. It's like Jessica pushing away Malcolm even though she really needs him; it's just how broken relationship work between broken people

This season is really hyper focused on how each of the different characters deal with their addictions. Jess has come face to face with the cause of her addiction issues (the loss of her parents). Trish is being controlled by her addiction cause (the feeling of powerlessness you get from being abused). Malcom is dealing with his addiction by replacing it with sex and work. It doesn't make for high octane action but it does add depth to characters that were already pretty deep.

Ari is my Cat

Trish's actions are definitely selfish and her arc is definitely a downward spiral the entire season. Comparing her to Peter and Steve is a perfect example of the different journeys people have toward a greater purpose.

I 100% thought when watching this episode, I can't wait to see aaron watch this lol
