It will it is clear they are taking inspiration from Escape From Super Max

2018-05-30 17:51:48 +0000 UTCI was pretty disappointed with the way Oliver's character was handled this season, so I'm hoping it's the Legends who break Oliver out of prison and that they take him with them on some of their adventures so his character can get some proper treatment and he can finally take a vacation from Star City.
2018-05-27 15:02:10 +0000 UTCI don't why but I feel he is in jail for 6 months.
2018-05-24 03:34:34 +0000 UTChe'll be let out to deal with the longbow archers. Fighting arrows with arrows.

2018-05-23 04:00:16 +0000 UTCDisagree. They are clearly using the unproduced screenplay Green Arrow Escape From Super Max as a loose basis for this storyline. In that screenplay Oliver is exposed as the Green Arrow and convicted of a crime he didn't commit. He must team with his Rogues Gallary to break out. So we are going to see something along this lines without a doubt.

2018-05-22 15:58:24 +0000 UTCIf only Oliver had friends who pose as FBI agents, call themselves hunters, and had experience getting out of federal imprisonment situation. I just want this crossover to happen so much.

2018-05-22 04:05:14 +0000 UTCNo presidential pardon, because the President's acknowledgement of the heroes was meant to be kept a secret, they don't want word of aliens getting out. And on top of that, even if she were willing to pardon Oliver, the problem still stands that he actually IS guilty. Even if they put every other one of his kills aside, justified as self defense or killing dangerous people, he killed Billy Malone. He was tricked into doing so, but that alone is a manslaughter charge. I think there will definitely be a deal to get Oliver out, likely because the FBI realizes it can't handle Diaz and the Longbow Hunters.
2018-05-22 01:25:24 +0000 UTCI just don't understand how the President gives medals to the heroes but then gets arrested by the FBI for doing what he got a medal for.

2018-05-21 12:25:41 +0000 UTCA deal. He will make a deal an I‘d like to think that has a connection to the new threat/villain of the season.
2018-05-21 09:35:22 +0000 UTCWhile I think a presidential pardon makes the most sense (cuz Alien/Nazis) I think the people of Star City will rally behind Oliver as the Green Arrow and demand his return/appeal. That or Slade Wilson will come back and break him out but just like Barry I don't think Oliver would want it that way.

2018-05-20 23:06:48 +0000 UTCThe city will want him back as mayor when diaz comes back

2018-05-20 22:29:22 +0000 UTCDo you think we will have some sort of time jump

2018-05-20 15:31:34 +0000 UTCI was thiking with Batwomen Rumor for Season 6 and The Cross Over. Maybe the Arrowverse has a female version of a Bruce Wayne and She Helps Oliver out or sends an Attorney or his case is moved to Gotham City

2018-05-20 15:25:08 +0000 UTCWhatever it is im confident that it wont involve him breaking out.
2018-05-20 15:20:01 +0000 UTCWhatever it is hopefully it's not in the first 15 minutes of the first damn episode.

2018-05-20 14:59:45 +0000 UTCEither get a deal or an appeal. More curious to know how he will deal with the public after getting out?

2018-05-20 14:22:56 +0000 UTCIt will hopefully be an verison of the Escape From Super Max. Escape From Super Max was a screenplay from 2007 where Oliver is exposed as Green Arrow and is sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit and has to team with his Rogues Gallary to break out. So a Prison Break.

2018-05-20 13:22:20 +0000 UTCI think Watson (or someone else) might need his help with something. And afterwards he gets free. Oliver made it very clear that helping him break out would get them all jailed. And I don't think we get 'Arrow season 7: Prison Break Edition'

2018-05-20 09:19:58 +0000 UTChelping someone huh... like... you know
2018-05-20 08:35:50 +0000 UTCI think it would be really wrong to have him break out or be broken out having given Felicity his reasons for why she's not allowed to break him out so it has to be one of the other options. Personally I think the city will need him too badly to keep him locked up and they will simply have to let him go to stop (I'm assuming) Diaz.

2018-05-20 08:14:14 +0000 UTCI’m about to rewatch the entire series to prove exactly how competent Oliver is at escaping from prisons and stuff like that, honestly for him a super max prison shouldn’t be that hard compared to other things he’s faced, but that would be an awesome thing to figure out. About how many people he has killed. Obviously it’ll have to be a rough estimate because not every death is shown on screen and he does only mame lots of people, but that would be interesting to figure out.
Allison
2018-05-20 04:17:11 +0000 UTCAnd to be honest what prison do they think will actually hold him. HE ESCAPED FROM LIAN YU!! You know this little place called purgatory. Where he has his own jail, that he escaped from too. I think I’m going to rewatch the entire show from season 1 episode 1 and find out exactly how many times Oliver has been in jail, prison, purgatory, trapped, etc. and then we can see what this “SUPER MAX PRISON” has on what he has escaped from. I have a feeling he should really be in charge of designing the prison, not be in one.
Allison
2018-05-20 04:11:41 +0000 UTCHonestly it could be all. I don’t think he will break out or if he does it will only be for a short amount of time and will go back and won’t be caught. He could get a pardon from present for all he did, or appeal because of double jeopardy.
Allison
2018-05-20 04:10:27 +0000 UTCI'd like to know what the federal charges are. They can't charge murder on the federal level so what would the charges be?

2018-05-20 03:55:36 +0000 UTCI think a pardon is unrealistic. Once, I rewatched the entire series and tried to figure out exactly how many people Oliver has killed. I lost count after 250. Sure, he's also a hero who's saved the city many times, but honestly, I'm surprised that a guy responsible for that many homicides didn't get the death penalty.

2018-05-20 03:46:03 +0000 UTCSIDENOTE. Eric on your theory about Oliver not fighting at 100%. I assumed Oliver was dragging out the fight till he got the information because he looks at the necklace than says, "ENOUGH." Punches Diaz three times and then stabs him. He clearly had the upper hand. But when it comes to power scaling I get what you mean. In the Arrowverse Oliver has clearly been defined at this point as the world's greatest archer and hand-to-hand combatant so if I had to rank LIVING characters I feel it would go something like this in terms of fighting prowess: 1. Oliver Queen 2. Slade Wilson 3. Sara Lance 4. Nyssa al Ghul 5. John Diggle 6. Roy Harper 7. Black Siren 8. Wilddog 9. Dinah Drake 10. Thea Queen

2018-05-20 03:44:49 +0000 UTCI think Watson has him in that specific prison for a reason. Like Prison Break season 3, they need him in there to get someone out that Watson needs. When Oliver delivers, he'll be free to go.

2018-05-20 03:38:36 +0000 UTCI want him to spend most of the season in prison. Imagine if the villain was in prison too. Just break him out for the crossovers.
I Am Groot
2018-05-20 03:38:21 +0000 UTCif they do that then either every other show will have to do that as well or arrow cant be in crossovers since he will be 5 years in the future

2018-05-20 03:36:22 +0000 UTCGeniune question for everybody- where does this season rank? Personally, even though I hated the civil war storyline, I think this ranks about on par with season 1. I'm personally very glad that Diaz lived. The only villians of Oliver that have lived more than a season ended up getting redeemed, but I'm hoping this one won't be as well. So yeah what does everyone else think? For me it goes 5,2,6,1,4,3
Hunter Tober-McGivern
2018-05-20 03:35:33 +0000 UTCI reckon for some reason or another he will be released temporarily to help with a dire situation with diaz and the longbows which in turn will lead to him being pardoned for dealing with them.
Cameron Mason
2018-05-20 03:34:43 +0000 UTCMy hope is that the public opinion of vigilantes changes and that the citizens of Star City campaign for Olivers release in the face of a threat the authorities can’t do anything about.

2018-05-20 03:33:17 +0000 UTCBreak out. I think they're going to do an Escape from Supermax adaptation where he teams up with people he imprisoned to escape.

2018-05-20 03:16:24 +0000 UTCOliver said point blank if he breaks out they'll just arrest everyone else so Breaking out is a no go. As I'm still kind of confused how an FBI Agent can just send someone to Supermax I think there is something else at play. I kind of really want a scene in the premiere where The President is just yelling at Watson for like 10 minutes and at the end pardons him.

2018-05-20 03:14:22 +0000 UTCMaybe heatwave and captain cold can break him out prison

2018-05-20 03:08:47 +0000 UTCNot my idea but I like it a lot. What about a 5 year time jump!? Then he spends another 5 years in hell.
2018-05-20 03:08:42 +0000 UTCBruce Wayne will help him out.

2018-05-20 03:08:31 +0000 UTCI think the villain for next season will be so dangerous and savage that they come to Oliver begging for his help to stop them.
