I say no, he won't be a regular character in the next season, but after they get Fitz back, they will use the capsle to preserve Coulson until they find a new way to get him back - even against his will.

Maybe he gets snapped out, and when the Avengers bring everyone back, he will be cured. Wishful thinking. It would kinda cheapen the moment though.

He's got days left. The only way he sticks around now is if he becomes Ghost Rider permanently. And even if he somehow lasts longer, there's still the 50/50 chance he gets turned to ash.

Agents of Shield ain't Agents of Shield without Coulson, also i really disliked how they only mourned Fitz for 5 seconds before forgetting all about him, i know a Fitz is in space with Enoc but their Fitz is dead Jemma's husband is dead and it's weird how they didnt care and are now just gonna go get another copy of Fitz

Every attempt to bring Coulson back to life has been carried out against his will. The first time, they used the T.A.H.I.T.I Project, which he was in charge of and tried to shut down, to bring him back. He ended up on a table, awake and aware with the top of his skull open and a machine cutting into his brain, begging them to let him die. The second time, his team went against his orders and tried to save his life even though they risked the world by doing so. THey need to respect his wishes and let him die in peace. #CousonDies

Depending on his time frame and the fact he’s going back to MCU, maybe we see him in first episode on season 6 but I doubt he’s back as a regular.

I don't see why Coulson needs to be exclusive to either TV or Movies. I think he'll be on next season, but there's no reason Coulson couldn't also get involved in PRESENT DAY MCU movies, considering he's involvement with CapMarvel's origins and the fact that Fury is dusted, He'd be one of Carol Danvers' last liasons on earth still alive, and Avengers 4 could see Coulson returning as the person involved in executing Fury's beeper alert plan and bringing Danvers back to Earth.

I feel like no and his Story has ended but at the same time i could imagine a nick fury winter soldier twist and they conveniently found a solution of screen (vabrianium?) But still no to the regular thing. I think a cameo or brief moment is all that we can get. Like nick fury did the past seasons.

I will regret the premature loss of Agent Carter forever. She was the greatest and her character puts other female superheroes on TV ike Supergirl(which is an OK series) to shame.

BTW Daisy survived Gravitons body slam into the city because her gauntlets can absorb quakes as well as direct them. If you remember in season four she absorbed multiple earthquakes and had to release the energy and launched herself into the sky.

I think that’s our final goodbye to Coulson, it was a perfect send off for a perfect character. We will see more of his early shield days in Captain Marvel which is why they may not continue him as a regular next season to avoid confusing audiences. I do however hope they go and get Fitz in the first episode I NEED MY FELLOW SCOTSMAN IN THIS SHOW EVERY WEEK DAMMIT.

I'm saying no. He had a great sendoff and saving him now, again, would cheapen the whole season retroactively. I don't think the writers want to do that.
