I agree with Eric...with Near's conclusions it feels like there are jumps in logic (although in the manga they have detailed out his thought process)

I was like no honey, don't act so bratty and childish in front of the other woman but this is MISA so she's gonna be herself lol. I think the same as Eric regarding the dinner, it was to measure herself to Misa and see how close she really is to Light. Hearing Misa's responses and figuring out she knows nothing of Light being Kira, fueled her own ego into thinking how 'insignificant' Misa is to him and he truly wants her "Takada" to be his bride his 'Goddess'. Really great reactions guys - and there are very intelligent people out here in the real world. I may not be one but I've met some before XD

Most of this is like Sherlock holms they are deducting who it can be via observations. they never KNOW who kira is they are just better at looking at evidence than others. Even L was using mostly observation skills.
