Monster of the Month and Tutorial Poll!

The poll is between these 2 monsters:
The Horror from the Cursed Depths, an unnatural octopus-thing that has crawled up from the underworld, versus a Caput Mortuum, essentially a corrupted ent (of the more stumpy variety) overgrown by poison mushrooms. Both offer some really interesting textures and elements to work with and would be equally challenging and enjoyable to paint.
Whichever monster wins here will not only be the Monster of the Month, but will also be the subject of this month's Tutorial!
And whichever monster loses will be saved for a rainy day sometime in the future!
