Carnival Wallpaper Process (updated Jan 17)

At this point it's all about color - I've already started blocking off large areas with solid colors to get an overall feel for the piece before going into detail. This way makes it easier to alter them if need be to make the piece feel more cohesive.
The colors aren't set in stone at this point either - thee will most likely be a few changes before things are set in stone. Still a ways to go but we're getting closer!
