The prologue here is just the same set up as the time slip arc urashiki goes back in time to try to get the nine tails out of genin naruto sasuke, boruto, and this time sarada follow him with the goal of protecting naruto.

Now unfortunately sasuke drops a letter sarada gave to him and sakura gets suspicious that they info on sasuke and keeps pressing them about it so sarada decided to try and get her off their trail by challenging her in a fight with the conditions if she wins sakura will leave them alone but if sakura wins she’ll tell her everything. This is the start of Sakura’s fall from grace by the feet of her own daughter.
