Upcoming Tier Change ($3 discontinuation)

Hi all! (you can tell this is an important post because I will be typing like an adult)

Starting today (but functionally, March) I'm going to be making some changes to the patron tiers. After spending some time looking at what other folks charge for exclusives and privileges, I've decided I didn't set up my tiers in a way that I'm satisfied with. The $3 tier currently gets a lot of stuff for such a low price, and given how much I produce in a month, I think I'm undercutting myself. So, starting today, it's going to be discontinued and not available to new patrons. There will only be the $5 and $10 tiers, which will continue to enjoy the same privileges they always have--voting, exclusives, book dev, suggestions, discounts, etc. Maybe more going forward? We'll see.

So what does that mean for all of you already in the $3 tier? 

The way patreon handles changing tiers is that, if I unpublish the $3 tier, it still exists (~ghost tier~), but is no longer public or available to new patrons. You'll still have access to the full archive as it exists now and any exclusives I post through February, because you already paid for this month. Starting March you will not have exclusive access. Exclusives will only be for $5 and up. You will still get the high-resolution versions of art I post publicly, though! 

So! If you're happy just throwing a few bucks my way each month while receiving high-res art, you don't need to do anything! If you want to join up with the $5 tier before the change, you will only be charged $2 (or $7 if you go to $10). I recommend doing this soon so you can enjoy the benefits of these higher tiers. The suggestion box opened today, and voting starts next week!

If you decide you'd rather leave than bump up your tier or remain in the ~ghost tier~ for hi-res art, I totally understand and I'm sorry to see you go! If you cancel your tier, you should retain access for the rest of February (since you already paid). I appreciate your support and hope you understand my decision, and that this is the most fair solution to myself and my patrons that I could think of. Nobody will be charged more than they expect to without choosing to upgrade their tier, and nobody will lose access to what they've already paid for.
