i've been promising a gastropod alien for ages and finally had a thought on How i wanted to do it. so i took a page from the quarians/geth from mass effect and the hunters from halo and went with a fancy suit to protect vulnerable goopy insides. the arms/legs are mechanical and engraved with patterns to resemble ancestral shells (you know, if i put an effort in beyond swirls).
