sometimes you get an idea, and you develop that idea, and then that idea turns into something completely different and the characters no longer suit the concept, so you have to go back and Do It Again

the initial seed that spawned max and mortis was 'nudist/photographer couple go urban exploring and a ghost fucks the girl while the dude watches' and that's fine! that's great. but the more time i spent developing the characters the more grounded in reality they became, to the point where any ghost/supernatural shit just didn't match with them and my ~vision~.

so here i am again in the ghost sex mines trying to develop something out of this idea that isn't Literally max and mortis with the serial numbers filed off. i recently saw a post on twitter making fun of the outfits the girls wear in fatal frame, which led to the thought "alright so what if you Were just straight up naked in a haunted/cursed house with nothing but your phone camera to protect you. and also the ghosts/shadow creatures were really fucking horny"

so now we've landed on "girl loses a bet and has to spend a naked night in a haunted house getting grabbed by the ghoulies"

who knows if i'll go anywhere with it but i think i need a break from my longer form writing projects, and this is simple and stupid and horny enough i might try to bang it out. call it an exorcism
