What's Happening

Hi all,

This is my first "Vacation" I have ever had. I've decided to take a little bit of one so that I can stop my wrists from hurting and make sure I don't develop carpal tunnel. After the last video's workload, that became an actual concern. This being said, I am still writing and voicing a few hours a day in preparation for the Elden Ring DLC. I just want to quickly give an update on how stuff is going.

The DLC most definitely will take 2 videos. As a result of how my style develops, it is imposing restrictions on me that, thankfully, limit the workload.

I wanted to finish the ending of Elden ring before I did the DLC. However, I have certain plans to either commission a composer, or another secret plan, to get some music for the next video. I can't tell you much details besides that. But, I wanted the DLC video's music to be perfect, and much of my time is literally just researching and playing with music to try and see what's usable. As a result, I don't want to do parts that require music before the DLC comes out when it might change.

Therefore- I am doing all that I can that doesn't require music. My plan is to have the ending fully written and voiced so that I can quickly edit the entire thing in just a few days, with incredibly minimal gaps. For me, voicing and writing by far takes the longest time, and eliminating that process would allow me to relax and to hard focus on getting the ending done in a very short time. Then, all I will have to do is the cutscenes and the credits, so I'm pleased with the amount of work I can do now, and how meaningful that work is going to be towards helping me finish the video. I don't think I could work more anyways, as I would like to sort out my wrist pain before the DLC video.

In the future, I would like to focus on improving writing most of all. I'm prioritizing getting the writing done now thoroughly and with quality because, in the future, I might change visual elements of my video and I don't want some future video to include a section that's notably dated. As well, it's good practice for the future.
