to give an update on where i'm At with my various projects and things, there'll be no new book releases this month, but! i have finished the first draft of the long road (this story with the goblins and bandits and dwarves), and plan to get that out in the back half of april. my beloved editor (who also wrote roger crenshaw: the dogs at duskfall) is going to be available for work again very soon, and it's been So Long since i had anything professionally edited that i'd rather put off release for the sake of a much better final product.
y'all have no idea how long i've been waiting to get my books edited by this guy again it's been like two years and my writing always levels up afterward. and incidentally i have.... two things that're finished and he's promised me his first two slots in his schedule >:) so that's a guaranteed release in may too. look forward to it
i'm also going to be spending this month working on starbuster again. i don't talk about that one much because it's a novel-ass novel and the characters are hard to draw so i never do, but i fiiiiiiiiinally have a full outline of what work it needs, so i can finish the damn thing. i've been pecking at it for what feels like two years now and i can't wait to get it out the door (and hopefully into a traditional publisher's hands? would be neat)
