Starbuster flexed his fingers around Tom’s wrists. His hard-on twitched through the right leg of his slacks, a solid black shape. Starbuster’s own was as obvious as a gun barrel pointed through a pocket. More obvious than the first time with no wall to hide it. No subtlety at all as it slid against Tom’s. Tom’s breath shuddered and he shut his mouth tight, but there was no denying it. Underneath the bluster and anger and mounting frustration, they were of the same mind: do anything to stop feeling so fucking awful for just a few minutes. Even if it meant rutting on the floor.

hi it's kinktober time, here's an excerpt from the latest draft of my novel i've been working on since 2022. i finally finished a full draft last month and gave it to my agent! it's So out of character for me, both as a contemporary romance and also about a sort-of-not-really superhero, but then i never intended for it to be a novel in the first place. it just needed so much set up to get to the sexy payoff i wanted, and by then it was already too long to be a novella.

so here we are! i'm getting together with her to talk revisions this week and then Off It Goes into the void of editorial submissions for trad pub. if it doesn't work out i'll self pub it like usual, but it would be cool to get some interest in my writing from publishers. da big leagues<-- says guy who already has a two book graphic novel deal.
