The standard operating procedure. now don't all rush to unsubscribe at once, as I actually think I fulfilled my obligation to post, at minimum, $20 worth of work this month, which was all I promised when i made my little sales pitch. Anyway this pitch saw a dramatic 50% increase in gross income this month so! next month I will try to post at minimum $30 of work! I've made a little financial breakdown at the bottom of the post.
i've removed the subscriber number from public view, and am showing only the dollar amount. i believe this is the opposite of what most people do. this is because I've come to the realization that I may be the opposite of most people. but also to better emphasize that this will be the monthly budget i can promise to allocate to personal art, but i will of course do everything i can to work on more of it than just that.
i'll also clarify how the patreon works. i can't provide netflix/spotify, where you get $7 ""worth"" of content in the form of 10 billion hours of polished, professionally produced entertainment. You are effectively crowdsource commissioning me to cook (as opposed to just drawing random fetish art for whoever happens to have money in their pocket on the day I put out a call for in-streams). This is why the only visible figure is the production budget.
Anyway were I to price it all out for an invoice, I think I've done maybe $600-800 "worth" of finished work when you add up a high effort pinup and a full turnaround ref. This is not even counting several dozens hours spent designing and drawing sven. So! baseline of $20 fulfilled... but maybe don't count on the exact same volume of output every month just yet..
