@BentM3tal don't know if anyone ever passed along the Sakura Gakuin's Fukei guide if not here's a link and has almost everything SG, incase you were looking for more SG content for your channel. https://reddit.com/r/SakuraGakuin/w/fukeiguide?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

From my point of view, the most striking and important part of the Idol groups is knowing the personality of the girls, beyond if they sing or dance well or badly, personality is a very important aspect and I think that is what idol groups sell, besides music of course. I am going to answer some of the questions that I remember you asked, generally the girls last between 3 to 5 years before graduating, it depends on what moment in their lives they entered the group. SG continued until 2021 and was disbanded due to issues related to the pandemic, it had a life of approximately 10 years. Nendo is the word by which each year's class is known, the video you saw was from Nendo 2012. The other girl who also left SG is Mariri Sugimoto, she had only been in SG for a year and received an offer from another company to do modeling, so she ended her contract with amuse and left SG, therefore she did not graduated as such. Mariri is currently a gravure model, a video game streamer on YT and recently started an idol group with other girls. If you want to know more about the personalities of the babymetal girls, the best way is to watch SG content since in babymetal they play a character and tend to follow a script or be more robotic, whereas in SG they could be themselves, I'm sure that you also ended up loving the other girls, they are all incredible

My first ever comment in Patreon and only cuz I ran into one of your recent YouTube reaction videos on Babymetal which was the graduation toss and listened to all the questions you were asking. They're definitely a band with an extensive history and is a lot to take in. This reaction here, was very much the same as mine when I found these. I needed to know more. You barely hung on without shedding any tears and I'll give you credit for that cuz I've watched this quite a few times and...well...little Moa kills me every time. Lol I have a list going in my YouTube account and kept the more memorable SG videos that I thought I needed in my list to show others their "road of resistance". Not my videos but just an "evolutionary" list I made up if you wanna browse through it. You may just find more answers to other questions that haven't been answered yet. Great reactions btw and have been enjoying watching you go through the motions that so many of us have gone through. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3cVOtpi6Ebw8lwSKFnsWUIMQdKWsQCnJ&si=4ZllZpj5ipzJhjRb

I would agree with the other comments here. I came across BM a couple of years ago after watching the "Gimme Chocolate" MV. Kinda thought I'd seen everything in music...until this. Down the foxhole I went. Never thought I'd be into a j-pop idol group until I started watching these SG videos. If you haven't seen the SG "Nendo Tests", they show a lot of the girls personalities. What can I say, it's adorable...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUa5hHXz7Tk

These are even earlier and tell you even more about their personalities and show them having fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfYYRnA8ukE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDne0xwniTg

I know you've watched the Not So Extensive Guide, but there are a couple of other ones from earlier that will give you some insight into the personalities. I found this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9xRiOBG82w

Itd be cool if you react to interviews too. Here's an english interview where MoaMetal answers the question of what a life without Babymetal would be like? https://youtu.be/8afBfaAEsLk?si=NZb6JJ16nXpQYB2z It's so cool seeing her speech in the graduation for Su about always supporting Su then a decade+ later shes still keeping her word.

DetectiveFujiwara

They announced that they were going to be apart of The MetRock festival and the Legend 1999 show prior to graduation and SU even mentions carrying on with Babymetal in her graduation speech earlier in the night. https://youtu.be/spd_wnXv2l8?si=x8x_wSxuFPZqxUXa

Nice one! I may be wrong here, but I’m not sure if the decision to continue Babymetal as its own thing was made at the time of graduation. If not, then that definitely heightens the emotions. And even that decision is already made, to Su, Moa, Yui, SG was still their primary, and Babymetal was still a portion of SG at that time. Regardless, Su will leave SG due to graduation. And I feel you man, I’m not the one to cry, and normally I won’t care to watch these types of things… But Babymetal got me all turned upside down 😂. Surprised the hell outa me that I would enjoy SG, and all its content as a full adult. So wholesomely good. 👏👏🤘🦊

The four girls at the end were all graduates SU was the only senior the other three were graduating from Elementary school, for future reference if they are wearing a ribbon they're Elementary students when they graduate to middle school they get necktie. Nendo refers to academic year. Sugimoto Mariri was the other girl that left that year, she was only a member for the one year and left to pursue a modeling career and thought it'd be to much to do both while commuting between Tokyo and Hiroshima, she just joined a new idol group named Lucy that'll be debuting early next year.
