April 2025 Update - Beginning of the End

If there is one word to define this update, it is Balance.

Whether it is in balancing out my personal life and new responsibilities with the progress of this update or creating a balance between the different storylines that I've already started writing to give a full update, I have had my hands full these past two months, as I improve on the code and on my writing skills to bring a satisfying update to you, my supporters. Truly, this update shows just how important it is to play the game multiple times, and make different choices at different times. It will pay off greatly on the long run when we all look back at this journey, but until then allow me to be overwhelmed by the cheer amount of scene variations that this update holds.

Improving the wardrobe has also been an important facet of this update, as I worked on simplifying the code a lot, accounting for thousand of words being removed from the update. While it might still be buggy to some, I believe that visiting Pablo Espana once at the mall will be enough to resolve any issues that might appear. That being said, it is far from being flawless on old saves.

I would like to essentially point out the fact that there is no AI use in any of the story's writing. All the words are mine, all the way things are said are mine, unique to the way I express myself. That being said, the support and ideas suggested over on Discord has helped a lot in certain hitches and complications that I've encountered in the past, and for that, I thank every single person that has an opinion on the game, even if negative (when expressed correctly).

The update is far from flawless, and I'm always open to suggestion or criticism. A part of me wants to revisit things way before in the game, another wants to progress the story and show you the entire plan for the third act. We'll see which part wins out in the end.
