Dollhouse

Yeah is not always about exaggerated perspectives and complex foreshortenings. A mere side view can tell so much and be honest about the size difference.

The placement of structure and position of Nikki and the tinies aren’t particularly complex. But you are able to accomplish a lot excellently. Showing a lot of the actions happening in the house, the tinies, and with Nikki. Especially how you incorporate a lot of action in a single picture. Stomp, butt, destruction and handheld. It’s all there and shown beautifully. Another simple aspect done effectively is the use of lighting and shading. The blinding light of the background and soft grays of the shadows on the ground convey a good amount of atmosphere in the picture. And finally, beautiful job on Nikki. I like the choice of her hairstyle, her choice of clothing which the markings are shown really nicely along with the light spots, and her expression has an enticing vibe to it. Can’t put the words to describe why. But really love this drawing!
