'This wouldn't be so bad if the professor cuddled me all the time... Actually, that would be pretty nice! B-but she's always out doing things!' Bernie's poor cotton heart began to melt. 'Ohhh, why couldn't she just stay in with me... Why couldn't she stay and hold me...
'Ohhh, I have to find a way out of this! Without me, who's going to feed my lil pitcher plants their flies? I don't want to just sit here in someone else's room! I want to sit in my room, when I'm able to read and paint and write! This is just boring... A-and lonely... Ohhh, I miss my plushies and plants and story characters!'
