We’ve been testing various gameplay elements, and we believe it’s best to share our current progress through video. Please bear with the messy UI, as we’re experimenting with different features.
That said, I felt the previous slot machine-like approach wasn’t quite hitting the mark. So, we pivoted back to an original design I had in mind for Explore last year (see post here: [Design1]). This approach focuses more on managing exploration events and resources while balancing the risks of exploring and handling monsters.
The idea is to create a more casual adventure style explore experience, with battles as an intense but secondary challenge.
