General Question about Spoilers: Isn't it best if the reactors are surprised by every episode and every season? If so, then it would be best if we try to never say that the next episode or season is our favorite. That might seem quite strict, but seems to me like it's a small price to pay to ensure that we all get to see Alley's reactions with her having as little advanced knowledge as possible.

yes i will be keeping patreon open for comments. apologies about all the changes, im trying to figure out a best solution. but i think the way it is now. comments for patreon, and then if u want to discuss further, bring it to discord. and of course, if u wanna talk to others about spoilers, discord is that way as well. but i know many like just comments so that will stay open

You’re not alone Kirby Lol. Alley is keeping these comments open as far as I know, I plan to keep posting here as long as she keeps them open. I mean there were like 87 comments on the last full reaction here. Between comments here, Youtube, and Discord I don’t really need more options though, that’s a LOT of ways to engage as little or as much as anyone wants. Hopefully the discord and the talk about avoiding spoilers will make people more careful here from now on. We all just got to keep calling each other out when/if spoilers happen. Also having the discord for people who really enjoy talking about spoilers should help, that channel has been crazy busy.

Regarding spoilers this is the rule being followed on discord and it makes good sense that the same rules should apply here as well. Please not this was written by Alley and is her definition of a spoiler so whether or not it matches up with your definition is irrelevant ... it's what we should strive to follow here and everywhere else. If you want to talk about anything that goes against what is below that's what the #buffy-spoilers channel on her discord. WHAT IS CONSIDERED A SPOILER? A spoiler is any piece of information that I have not encountered through my viewing of the show. This means any discussion of what the next episode/season has in store for me is not allowed (feel free to share your thoughts on that in the spoiler discussion channels). This also means any "cant wait till you get to the (number)th episode!" is also a spoiler since I would like to go into each episode with no expectations. This also includes making allusions or jokes that you think are clever about upcoming information. Again, post that on the spoiler channel. So before writing ask yourself: "Has Alley already seen this info in the show?" Note: One "spoiler" I already know is that Angel does have a spin off show that comes later on. So I do know that exists. (BUT, I don't know anything about the plot)

for right now, you can continue using patreon if you feel more comfortable here. I thought I could use just discord but its clear theres not a "comment only" type of feel to channels. and by giving others the option to let out their spoilery thoughts in that channel on discord, hopefully these comments stay clean haha
