So, technically I know this a bit of a detour from my other Genshin Plus! 'plot line' (or is it? XD) but Eula just launched this week and I wanted to celebrate!
I don't have her so I can't really give my usual background info. That said, I think all you really need to know here is that the Knights of the Favonius are the most elite members of European-esque Mondstadt's military and/or governing apparatus.... sort of? Mondstadt has a very lackadaisical government.
(PS: I totally cheated on the sword; don't tell anyone)
