Xinyan Plus!

This was harder than it should have been! Partly because of my indecisive nature in regards to how to adapt a character I really like, partly because of her weird shorts and tunic, and partly because my tablet was very slightly off calibration and I couldn't draw a straight line to save my life and I didn't know why!

Anyway, EVENTUALLY she came out pretty good, if a bit bigger than she needed to. But, HEY, I'm sure no one in this community is going to complain about that!

For those of you who don't Genshin....

Xinyan is Liyue's premier (and only) Rockstar. She's gifted with the pyro element and makes a habit of being loud, enthusiastic, and accidentally burning her self-built stage down at the end of her set.
She also is a big fan of Xiangling's cooking and is canonically up for pretty much anything Xiangling serves her whether its a good idea or not. (basically the opposite of Chongyun and Xingqiu)

Honestly Xinyan really is one of my favorite characters in the game.

....With some caveats... *grinds teeth quietly*

Look, I started to write down the things about her character that get on my nerves in spite of how much I like her but it went... WAY too long. Lets just say that they tried to give her some ironic quirks but, in my opinion... it makes her character theming self contradictory.

Also, in the English dub they gave her this really heavy, cartoon Texan accent complete with cartoon Texan turns of phrase? *visible confusion* (I guess she's supposed to have a brash, regional brogue or something?)

Anyway, I just need to stop now before I write that rant out anyway. XD

All that said, I do like her. She's fun to play and her personality is entertaining.
... so long as you don't read too deeply in her bio or...  play the game in English....

I'm stopping now, for real! I mean it!
