Meet Kelly, the talking portrait who gives you missions in the "construction" and "stuck-in-the-mud" simulator, RoadCraft.
Honestly, though; this is basically an OC since the 'character' in question only exists in headshot form, but it's amazing how much something so simple as a face and a job description can create a character design from nothing.
So what am I doing drawing this? Well, I was in a chat with a very good friend of mine on Thursday when I opined that I was uncertain what I wanted to draw this week. He was in the middle of playing RoadCraft and sent me a pic of Kelly's portrait as a suggestion.
Since this particular friend rarely asks me for anything art related I took this as a meaningful request and a challenge, and I'm glad I took it because it was a lot of fun.
...Well except the part where the power went out while I was saving and corrupted the file, forcing me to cobble the whole thing back together through a "psd repair" service that extorted me for 5 bucks and by enlarging and cleaning up elements I saved in the process drawing. Only added an extra 2.5 hours onto the experience. No biggie.

Bulldozer borrowed from an image search, heavily FX filtered and gently touched up. (Sorry)
