Marvel Rivals: Magix Max!

Congrats to Magik for winning the October Max Poll! And as always, thanks to everyone who participated and all my patrons who make these images possible!

This one ended up being harder than I expected for a couple different reasons. For starters, Magik's costume is a lot more complicated than it looks; there are a lot of subtle details that are tricky to map. I also had a little trouble coming up with a pose that I liked, which is always a drag when it happens.

The other reason this took a little longer is that 90% of this image was completed, not in my usual program of choice, Photoshop, but in Clip Studio Paint. The version of Photoshop I have has recently revealed a major drawback in its inability to import 3D models, and I was thinking it might be time to upgrade, but since I'd like to never give Adobe money again if I can help it, I thought I'd try Clip Studio.
I'm currently using a 30 day trial to decide if it fits my needs and it does have a lot of amazing features but, of course, there are some other things its missing. Add the time of looking up tutorials, finding work arounds, and generally just having to hunt for settings, and you get an operation that turns a 2-day piece of work into a 3-day piece of work

Anyway, I hope the end result was worth the effort!

...also, as of typing this, I've just realized that it's 5pm and I just worked through most of my day off. :')
