A long thought about AI is winding down 有关AI的漫长的思考渐渐结束

Well, I haven't painted much in the last month ......
Because my mind, was occupied with some other stuff
stable-diffusion is publicly released and available to everyone
Apart from playing 2077 for a few days, it was more about thinking about AI painting

I kept learning about the materials and familiarising myself with their functions
Thinking about whether they can help me in my future drawing ......
and thinking about the meaning of my painting

I have watched it go from the initial ......
just being able to draw traditional, classical figures ......
quickly iterated to waifu, a version that can draw a lot of cute girls
Then came NovelAI ......
And if a new and better version of AI comes out a few months later?
If it can easily draw things that would take me days, weeks to draw.
Does it make sense that all the effort I have accumulated in the past on drawing
Will I be able to study and practice as hard as I did before ......?

Because of this thought, I have difficulty picking up a brush and painting for a while.
Instead, I spend more time on understanding AI and figuring out its boundaries.

And now I've basically come up with three reasons why I can continue to paint and work on it
1. AI doesn't have the ability to produce exactly what I really want ......
  It just finds a way to put a bunch of elements together that

  I am sometimes amazed by the painting techniques and colours used, though.
  But after all, the most important aspect is not achieved.

2. painting itself is an emotionally and mentally calming process for me.
  It's a bit tiring ...... but it's barely a form of entertainment.

3. The AI results do not satisfy me
  While there are a few colours and compositions that I find amazing, the

  And I want better and better pictures!

以及思考着我画画的意义

我看着一个月来它从最初的……

只是能画一些传统的，古典的人物……

迅速迭代出waifu这个可以画出不少可爱女孩的版本

然后是NovelAI……

如果几个月后又推出了更好的新版本AI？

如果它可以轻易的画出我需要几天，几周才能画出的东西，

我在绘画上过去积累的努力是否有意义呢，

我之后还能像以前一样去努力的学习和练习呢……？

因为这样的思考，我暂时难以拿起笔绘画，

而更多的把时间花费在了解AI，摸清它的边界上

而现在，我基本得出了我可以继续画下去和努力下去的三个理由

1.AI并没有办法完全得出我真正想要的东西……

   它只是想办法把一堆元素拼在一起，

   很多时候离我想象中的画面相差颇远。

   虽然有时用的绘画技巧和颜色令我惊叹，

   但毕竟最重要的方面并没有达成。

2.绘画本身对我就是一种安抚情绪和精神的过程，

   虽然有些累人……但勉强也还算一种娱乐方式。

   而AI绘画显然不具备这些特性

3.AI的结果并不能让我满足

   虽然有少数色彩和构图让我感到惊叹的，

   但总体来说优秀的图还是非常少，

   NovelAI的结果也只能说是达到了一般gal游戏CG的水平

   而我想要更好，更棒的图！

   NovelAI说到底还是基于stable-diffusion结构优化出的东西，

   一些结构性的问题依旧存在。

   在下一个革命性的新结构出现前，

   我依旧只能靠自己的笔去画出我想要的图！

嗯，我这个月大概会恢复一些绘画速度！
