On a technical level this was pretty easy. I thought about leaning into the watercolor look from the manga splash art but I didn't feel like committing to it fully; instead splitting the difference between the manga and anime art style.
I had thought about doing a more dynamic drawing but I kind of liked how the flat angle kind of contributes to the awkwardness of the moment.
Anyway thanks again, and look forward to commission 6 next week!

Thank you! I did have a good birthday, and I'm glad to see that people are really enjoying this piece because I'm extremely proud of how well it came out. I think I got the build and proportions precisely how I wanted them and it feels really good!

And what I love the most is her in her uniform cause it reminds me of the Makima pic cause it shows how awesome and talented you are. The shades, the ways the shirts and skirt wrinkles and folds, how the tie is positioned. It shows so much dimension, and It’s such an incredibly well drawn picture! Thanks for posting us this. And hope you had an awesome birthday!
