Elphelt Valentine has a character design that is so good I'm almost tempted to buy GG Strive (when it goes on sale) just to play as her (I know she's DLC) when I'm terrible at fighting games.
I also have to give her mad credit for having a cool heavy metal look without falling into the trap of wearing "mostly black" that we metalheads tend to fall into. I think I'll definitely take some inspiration from her outfit for something else I'm working on!

On her design- I hope she's still big enough! I know XL was requested, and its possible that I could have gone bigger but I was having some trouble getting the pose to come out the way I want. She has so much energy in all the images I found; I really didn't want to lose that! Anyway, I was actually kind or worried about it for a bit, but I think it came together in the end.

Elphelt is my favourite GG girl, love this! You should totally get Strive, too. I've been maining Elphelt in it since she came out and she's tons of fun to play (unless you're against nago or pot).

I think the most important thing this design really helps me with is getting my mind unstuck from the idea that "Heavy Metal" = "Black and red." Look, Black and Red is metal as heck, but this hot pink metal look is so freakin' rad. I just never thought to unbind myself from the traditional hard rock style stuff before. (Even though my last drawing of the Unnamed Fullbody Metalhead girl had a white shirt with pink and baby blue... look, I'm not always the most self-aware) The project I'm working on is a story I've had a main character for for a long time; I just didn't have a story to go with it. Sadly I kind of suspect it's not going to work as a Max Fullbody branded thing, though there are some features I think some ya'll *might* like. I'll definitely post something about it for the interested when there's... actually something concrete to post. XD
