As long as ribs and surrounding areas aren't also damaged, the "treatment" for a broken sternum is a lot of rest, drinking a lot of water, and over-the-counter pain meds. It's painful to have a broken sternum, but it heals itself within 2-3 months. So our sweet little crouton will just need to rest for a while and let Arco pamper him. PAMPER HIM, ARCO! <3
