VIP tier changes announcement! <- UPDATE, PLEASE READ

The long version:

I know this is going to upset some people. Please, hear me out.

When I started this Patreon I had never even dared to dream it could grow this big. For this I can not thank everyone enough. However, this Patreon was started to support my comics and get some extra content in the form of smaller imagesets, pinups and premium comics.

Since then I have strayed away from that unwillingly (yet by my own designs). 

I would like everyone to try and see it from my perspective. I do this next to my full-time job. So I get home, clean up some stuff, make some diner and get to work on this. I've been doing that for over half a year now and my passion for it has only grown since then. However, this is passion for my own work. Hannah and her friends, Lexi, the weekly sets and the pin-ups. I want to make more comics with more varying subjects and I want to create comics faster.

However, I now find myself coming home and spending my time almost exclusively on making commissions. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the commissions are great ideas and they're fun to make but they are not mine. The passion is missing. I know I know.. passion is good but discipline is better but I can not have discipline where I have no passion.

Take for example the Lexi story line which I have promised will continue outside of the regular weekly sets. I have simply not been able to find time to continue it because of the commissions. I have only been able to spend a minimal amount of time on the comic because of commissions.

It's draining me a bit.

I do not consider it fair towards the people that have started supporting me because of the comics and weekly sets to delay the content they have chosen to support by spending all my time on commission sets they have absolutely 0 control over.

The practical stuff / questions:

Q: What will happen to the VIP tier?

A: The VIP tier will become a tier to catch up on the already released weekly sets and will be priced at $25. This price might increase as the amount of weekly sets behind it increase.

Q: I have already pledged / in the past pledged to you for a commissions. Will they still be made and delivered?

A: Ofcourse. All current standing commissions will be made. Requests can still be made for March if you have already pledged to the tier.

Q: How will this work exactly?

A: Currently the $30 tier can no longer be pledged to. At the end of March the tiers will be deleted and you will no longer have acces to my content until you repledge to one of the new tiers. There are no extra costs or anything. You just renew your pledge in April by pledging to one of the new tiers.

Q: Why are you being so erratic? Yesterday you increased the pricing, now you stop with commissions all together?

A: I apologise for this. I can assure you that from now on the tiers will remain the same and stable. All I can do is hope for your understanding and hope for your continued support.

Q: Will there be possibilities for commissions in the future again?

A: Maybe. But not in the form it is right now. It will be in a form where I know ahead of time what needs to be made and whether I can properly commit myself to it.
